Invest in the future of East African agriculture.

OSAC is an integrated, impact-driven agriculture ecosystem in one of the world's fastest-growing food markets — combining real-world infrastructure with a scalable, technology-enabled model.

The opportunity

A large, underserved market — and a model that fits it.

A market on the rise

Agriculture is the backbone of Tanzania's economy and a major share of its GDP, with strong growth and clear government priority behind it. East Africa is one of the fastest-growing food markets in the world, with rising domestic demand and growing export pull from the Gulf and beyond.

Gaps that map to revenue

Every structural gap — counterfeit inputs, missing advice, no irrigation, weak market access, no credit — is a OSAC service. The problems farmers face and the services OSAC sells are the same thing: a business where doing good and earning revenue are the same motion.

Built to scale

A franchise network plus a digital platform means reach grows without cost growing at the same pace. The model is proven globally — India's DeHaat reached over 10,000 franchise centres serving 1.5 million farmers on exactly this logic — and remains largely untapped in East Africa.

The model

Real infrastructure, technology-enabled.

OSAC pairs a central supply hub and a growing network of community franchise centres with a mobile platform that ties everything together. Farmers get one trusted relationship; franchise operators get a complete business system; and the company earns across multiple services that reinforce each other.

  • Diversified income across inputs, services, irrigation, financing and market commissions
  • Recurring relationships — farmers return every season, building predictable revenue
  • A capital-light path to scale through local franchise operators who invest in their own centres
  • A defensible local presence — trust, data and farmer relationships that are hard to replicate
  • A data advantage — every season builds farmer records that strengthen credit, targeting and retention

The hub economics lesson

The hardest lesson from comparable franchise models elsewhere in East Africa: an individual centre can reach profitability, but the central hub often can't — a thin margin on inputs alone doesn't cover hub-level logistics, training and support costs. OSAC is structured to avoid that trap: the hub earns from day one through franchise fees, offtake commission, and credit/insurance brokerage — not input margin alone.

Where your capital goes

A clear structure for different kinds of investment.

OSAC is built so that the right capital funds the right part of the business — which is why we work with impact funders and commercial investors alike.

Catalytic & grant capital

Funds the foundation

Technology development, farmer training and the early franchise pilots. This is where development-finance and foundation partners create lasting infrastructure and measurable impact.

Working capital

Powers the input-credit engine

Financing that flows out as verified inputs to farmers and returns through the harvest. Structured for impact lenders and development-finance institutions seeking return alongside reach.

Infrastructure & aggregation

Builds the physical backbone

Storage and warehousing, irrigation and the collection points that let OSAC aggregate produce at scale — including for export into Gulf food-security supply chains. Hard infrastructure with clear, growing demand behind it.

Growth equity

Scales the network

Expands the franchise network and the technology platform across regions. This is where mission-aligned venture and growth investors share in the value the network creates as it grows.

You don't have to fit every layer. Tell us where you want to play, and we'll show you exactly how that part of the business works.

How we sequence capital

Non-dilutive first, equity last.

1

Grants & catalytic capital

Proves the model without dilution — the foundation for everything that follows.

2

Working capital

Scales the input-credit engine as trust in the model is earned.

3

Growth equity

Comes only once a repeatable, proven node exists — capital for scaling, not for starting.

Impact & returns, together

Returns that come from real impact.

For agricultural producers & operators

Bring your expertise to fertile, underused East African land.

A different kind of opportunity. If you're an established agricultural producer — in Germany, Turkey, the Gulf, or anywhere with the know-how and ambition to expand — East Africa offers what your home market may not: abundant fertile land, year-round growing conditions, competitive labour, and direct access to both fast-growing local markets and Gulf food-security demand.

A partner already on the ground

Entering this market, made practical.

Rather than navigating land, labour, inputs and logistics alone in an unfamiliar country, you partner with an operator already established locally. You bring the production expertise and capital; OSAC provides the foundation to make it work.

  • Local legal & company setup — registration, permits and the legal groundwork to operate from day one
  • Land identification & access — locating and securing suitable, well-positioned agricultural land
  • Verified inputs & supply chain — genuine seed, fertiliser and crop protection through our hub, at scale
  • Local workforce & agronomy — trained labour and on-the-ground agronomic support from our network
  • Operational infrastructure — irrigation, mechanisation linkages, storage and the OSAC platform
  • Financing access — connections to agricultural finance and development-finance facilities
  • Market access — local & export — our marketplace for domestic sales, plus emerging Gulf export channels
A direct route to the Gulf

For producers focused on export, this is a direct route into the Gulf market, where countries importing the large majority of their food are actively seeking reliable African supply partners. You bring the production expertise and capital; OSAC provides the local foundation to make it work.
